About Short Hat Company
Short Hat Company is a family-owned business that is dedicated to creating beautiful, quality hats that satisfy the needs of both kids and parents. The quest for the perfect hat began in 2001 when designer Chris Epp found youth and infant hats that protected, but offered little in the way of style. He decided to bring this unique design perspective to the children’s boutique market and Short Hat Company was born. In 2010, Tom and Tracy Sailors acquired Short Hat Company and relocated the company to Omaha, Nebraska.. Since that time, dozens of boutiques and a major Midwest department stores have begun carrying the Short Hat brand.
