Soap nuts have been used for centuries as a natural way to clean. When agitated in water, the saponin on the soap nut (which is actually a berry) creates a natural soap. Use with cloth diapers, delicates, every-day clothing, with hard or soft water, in your standard or HE washing machine. Soap Nuts are an excellent alternative for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
Choose from 2 sets. The more you buy, the more you save.
Each nut lasts an average of 5 loads. Soft water yields more loads than hard; cold water yields more loads than hot.
To UsePlace 5 Yoreganics soap nuts in the small reusable wash bag provided, tie it closed, and toss it into the drum of your washing machine with your laundry. Works in cold, warm, or hot water, and with any load size. Leave them in for the entire cycle, including the rinse cycle. You’ll be amazed with how clean and soft your clothes will be.
Remove bag and set aside for your next load before placing clothes in dryer or line drying.
Dry clothes as usual. Don't worry if your wash bag of soap nuts accidentally gets tossed in the dryer. They will not harm, stain or rewash your clothes. Don’t throw these soap nuts away. If they still have saponin/soap in them—use them again.
Replace the soap nuts when they feel crumbly or thin and light tan/grayish in color. Still not sure? Place them in a jar with water and shake. If they still create suds, use them again. If not, toss in your compost or yard to biodegrade.

Bye Bye Dry Balm has been a miracle for my infant with eczema. It is so creamy and soothing on her skin...better than anything else I have found out there, and without any nasty toxins to absorb into my little baby's body. - Jennifer, OrganicBabyUniversity.com
During a recent bout with very dry itchy skin, I was ready to resort to cortisone cream, when I decided to try Yoreganics Bye Bye Dry Balm and found great relief right away. I love that it uses natural organic ingredients and isn't chmeically based. The stick is a great idea as it doesn't get on your hands and clothes. I carry one in my pocket and keep another one at home and bought them for both my daughters as well who are also enjoying them. A great skin care product. - Betty, Charlestown, RI
I went cold turkey on the chemicals for the laundry all at once and used only your products (Soap nuts, Stain remover, Brightens & Whitens) and in less than 2 weeks, my 20-month-old had no eczema at all. His body was covered in red, unsightly bumps pretty much his whole life until 2 weeks ago. - Michelle, Chicago, IL
